As post-War production got going, some radios like this one were still essentially pre-War in conception. Six octal tubes, AC/DC, it features a tuned RF stage for extra sensitivity and image rejection. Built with lots of metal, the chassis is not only fully enclosed but also sits on an additional steel plate. The cabinet or shell is ivory enamel over dark plastic. This one has been repainted. There are no cracks, dents or scratches. The gold grille cloth is faded. Electrically it is in good condition; plays well and sounds good. 12"W x 9"H x 8"D (including the handle).
