| Usually not at a lost for words, what can I say about this radio that you can't see in the pictures? This wonderful small cathedral was produced by Climax Radio Corp. in Chicago, Illinois, probably in 1932 or 1933 judging by its five-tube line-up. Recently serviced, this TRF radio with a simple wire antenna (provided) brings in all sorts of stations in the late evening. My technician added a 1-amp fuse for safety purposes Did I mention the gorgeous escutcheon? 13-1/2"H x 11-1/2"W x 8"D. |
