| The iconic "Sled" radio built by Philco led to a whole host of copies by other makers. This "Sled" features beautiful marquetry in the dark walnut case, its original knobs, six pushbuttons surrounded by an attractive Art Deco brass escutcheon and its original back which is almost always missing on these radios. The first push button turns the radio ON and OFF; the dial lamp works and the cabinet is simply gorgeous. This radio was recently serviced and plays loud and clearly like it was new. If you are a collector or radio fan, surely you should own one of these. 13"W x 8"H x 7"D. |
