THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This rare six-tube battery radio was manufactured by Parker McCrory in Kansas City in the late 1930's. It features three bands: BC, Police and Short Wave. The large beautiful dial and mixture of woods catch the eye and is a joy to behold. This survivor is in relatively good shape although it looks as if it sat in a very dry place for many years; I'm guessing in front of a window or perhaps on a radiator. I have plenty of pictures and can take more, so please don't hesitate to ask. Works on a 6-volt lantern battery available at WalMart. Nice original wood knobs. 18-1/2"W x 11-1/2"H x 8"D. |
