I am quoting here from this radio's 1938 print ad: "the Instrument panel is a combination striped and stump walnut veneers, with contrasting maple inlays. Satin finish. And only $24.95." Don't you wish! This original 32-volt Farm Radio was powered likely by a windmill maybe even somewhere here in the Midwest. About five years ago I had it converted over to an AC unit and it is awesome. Works perfect on both bands; knobs, pointer everything works. Check out the case, dial, tombstone design and workmanship. Simply wonderful radio. I'll include a copy of the ad. There are a few small dents in the front, upper left hand corner which I think is fair to point out. Please don't hesitate to email or call with any questions. 17-1/4"H x 12-3/8"W x 9-1/2"D. |
