THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Very nice and rare Kennedy receiver. This early regenerative set was so highly regarded that people were still using them in the late 1920s! It is beautifully made with bank wound coils, silver plated dials and a solid mahogany case. With an Arbee III power supply or the proper batteries, the 110 can pick up AM broadcast stations from pretty far away. They also tune down to 12 kHz! No that's not a typo. You'll need a 100 ft or so long wire antenna for AM broadcast and a detector tube (200A works best). It is quite original save one knob which is very close to correct. The two knurled lid catch screws are proper reproductions. All else in excellent and original, even to the intact seller's label under the lid! This is a nice unmolested set with original finish. |
