Kennedy 110 & 525 Amp
(wood tube casket radio)

Kennedy 110 & 525 Amp

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I'm happy to be able to offer the best Kennedy 11 and 525 amp pair I have ever had or seen and I've seen quite a few! Both are early production San Francisco types with nickel binding posts. The 110 is serial number 212! The 525 amp has the original Kennedy inspection tag inside with the matching serial number on it! The finish on both is superb and much better quality than on later sets. Both original transformers test good on both sides in the 525! The receiver is a tested and working set, though the design which adds the A voltage to the detector plate voltage does not work with an ARBEEIII unless you use the ARBEEIII for the plate voltage and a separate battery for the filament. The reason for this arrangement is to allow feathering of the plate voltage to find the most sensitive spot for UV-200 and UX-200 tubes. The 110 will be supplied with a good UX-200 tube and the 525 will be supplied with two display only brass base tipped UV021A tubes. The 110 is very heavy and will need to be overpacked to protect it due to the cantilevered weight on the coils. The pair is so superb that I will not split them up. They are as good as they get!!!
