| Rarely do we find a TFK Opus in this nice original condition. It too played great, but I always do a chassis restoration to give em a great shot at another 50 years of enjoyment to its proud owner. But this one was already restored, and a good job by a previous technician. I checked it carefully, it has new filter condensers, many new capacitors, it all all Telefunken tubes except, it still has the coveted EL84 Telefunken output tubes, and they test strong. All tubes test good. All original, beautiful finish! Repaired crack at top left front corner (see photos) is minor and generally not obvious. Happy to send more quality photos and answer questions! |
