THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This offering is for a nice Siemens H42, known as a Schatulle due to the doors. Schatulle is German for a treasure box, etc. I think these are one of the real classic German radios, from a German manufacturer known for their quality. This one of course has AM, FM and SW. Jacks on the rear for phono and tape inputs, activated from the front keyboard. We did a chassis restoration, so we expect years of pleasure from this beauty. I am not sure if the finish is original or not, if not it is extremely well done. Semi-gloss, not the high gloss so ofter found on our German radios. All bands work well, but (as always) it's the FM that just makes one's hair stand on end. What sound! Always happy to answer questions, please feel free to ask. More photos on request. |
