(wood tube table radio)

Telefunken Concertino 9U (USA Version)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great performer, and it looks great! It has tremendous sound and powerful reception on SW, AM and FM. It is a USA model; all the writing is in English and the FM is the full range 88-108. It has beautiful high gloss original finish, perfect original grille cloth. Everything about this radio is original. I have done a comprehensive chassis rebuild, all the things that needs to be done to put it up in shape to maximize its pleasure and longevity! The Concertino is Telefunken's one step below the top-of-the-line Opus. Both models were built on the same chassis, Concertino utilizes one EL84 instead of two, and four tone control pushbuttons instead of five. She's a head turner for sure, but please note the top has some minor darkening toward the back. It's been like that for months, some lessening of that but not a lot. The brass is super, the overall appearance is impressive! I will include a new German cloth "Blumenranke" I bought in Rothenburg o.d.t. on my last buying trip (see photo). Price includes overkill packing, insurance and shipping in the lower 48 states. Please feel free to ask questions, or for additional, larger better photos. 24-1/2"W x 16"H x 12"D.
