Grundig 3192
(wood tube table radio)

Grundig 3192

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I'm very proud of these German radios! This Grundig is very nice; the finish, speakers, grille cloth, etc., are all original. Only the back panel is not original, but it is functional. This is a USA version radio, so the writing is all in English, and the FM covers the full 88-108 range. Incredible sound from this beauty! AM, SW and FM all work well, with input and output options on the rear of the radio, which can be activated from the keyboard. The finish is the most popular dark high gloss, so impressive with its beautiful grille cloth and shining brass trim. She's a beauty, and her sound is as impressive as her appearance. Of course, I have serviced it properly and accomplished all the things necessary to get it ready for many more years of enjoyment! I replaced the filter condensers, replaced a host of those little capacitors, those paper, wax and foil troublemakers that were the state-of-the-art in the 1950s. Replaced those trouble makers with new, modern technology self-healing capacitors; a massive improvement! Tested and replaced and weak or marginal tubes, replaced the troublesome pot-metal tuning disc with an aluminum disc that solves this potential problem for good.
