| Here we have a stunning Airline shouldered tombstone radio. The large, well made cabinet is just spectacular in a beautiful red mahogany with gorgeous flowing wood grain. You don't see too many tombstones with this design. Very unique. The large Art Deco grille not only looks great but allows for optimal sound from the large speaker. The real "attention getter" on this set is the large back lit half moon dial. It lights nice and bright and features a bright emerald green light and follows the pointer around the dial. Simply stunning against the red mahogany cabinet! The brass escutcheon looks great as do the three wood knobs which work as they should. The set has a powerful seven tube copper chassis which provides sensitive reception with lots of volume, rich warm tone, and no hum. 16-1/2"H x 15"W x 11-3/4"D. |
