Here is the rare Birdseye Maple version of the Grunow 460. Most of these sets were made out of standard oak veneer, but a select few were produced in this highly collectible Birdseye Maple. The cabinet is just stunning and is quite a sight complimented by the bright orange dial. The dial is legible and in great condition as is the dial cover. All three wood knobs are in nice shape and work as they should. The four tube chassis produces sensitive reception and the large speaker allows for good volume with nice tone and no hum. All the original labels are still perfectly intact on the chassis and inside the cabinet. A few minor scratches were blended on the side and only visible up close in extreme lighting. As you can see, nothing at all that detracts from the beauty of this set. 13"H x 10"W x 6-3/4"D.
