Silvertone 4764 (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

Silvertone 4764 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here we have one of the most desirable table radios Silvertone produced. This top of the line model is simply stunning. Beautiful shades of walnut run throughout the set with striking wood grains running in every direction. Pinstripe inlays and an intricate top grille (for the top mounted speaker), make for a classy and extreme Art Deco look. All complimented magnificently by the large gold dial and solid bright emerald green tuning eye. Just spectacular! Notice all the countries' names that appear across the top of the dial. Everything is legible and shows very little signs of wear. The escutcheon is perfect as is the dial glass. All four knobs are in excellent condition and work as they should. The seven tube (including eye) chassis is clean and has been restored. The set features Broadcast and two shortwave bands. Excellent performance on all bands with booming volume, sensitive reception, rich warm tone, and no hum. Please email me for additional photos or inquiries. 16-1/2"W x 14"H x 9"D.
