THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
In 1935, the Philco 66 was one of the five new additions to the Philco line of radios. The company was beginning to phase out cathedrals, but production was strong with sales reaching one and one half million. This model is a five tube set with excellent performance. This particular radio made the trip to Ken's Electronics to be brought back to peak capabilities. Weak tubes were replaced along with needed condensers and capacitors. As usual Ken put in a fuse and added a line cord for safety. Ask to see work order #24042, The cabinet on this one is very nice in my opinion. There are no cuts or bruises, and the finish is very good. |
