It amazes me how sought after are the Philco 21, 70, and this model 90. The 21, in fact, is credited for making Philco the leading radio manufacturer in the world in 1930. Edward Combs was the designer of these cathedrals that still remain very popular after 80 years. This beautiful 90 was restored some years ago and plays flawlessly. It has the original style power cord and a gleaming finish on the cabinet. I prefer the original new 1931 look to the lacquered, wet look on these grand old relics. There have been seventeen sold on the "Attic." Own this wonderful piece of history for |
