(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Zenith 7-S-232AT Tombstone (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Back on the Attic; buyer was unable to complete purchase. This is the export version of this famous Zenith. It featured the ability to select from four different line voltages to power the radio. It has an over-sized transformer, with its exclusive to the model, black crinkle painted speaker. The chassis and speaker are in exceptionally clean condition; it has been completely serviced, and I offer a six month warranty on it. Complete with its 6T5 eye tube, rated at about 50% strength. It's a treat to see how responsive the tube is. Also featured is its original grille cloth, which is unlike the modern replica. Plays very well, and does need a short antenna. Three bands with great SW. 24"H x 18"W x 12"D.
