THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a cute little GE perfect for a small table or nightstand. It is tiny but the reception is superb with the wire antenna. It has six tubes and a nicely lighted, crystal clear dial. The case is a beautiful reddish/brown. Incredible condition for a radio made in 1938. It seems to be a rare model as I cannot find any reference to any being sold. Admiral made the radio for GE and their model numbers are: 577-5Q and 162-5L. They too are difficult to find. This could be a rare collectible. Fully restored for safe, reliable use. All paper capacitors and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with high quality modern replacements. Tubes replaced as needed as well as any other defective parts. Please review my testimonials page to get an idea of the quality restorations I do. 9-3/4"W x 7"H x 5"D. |
