This set is one of my very favorite plastic sets from the late 1940s. Where do I begin? The condition is near flawless. I have not seen ever a better specimen. The two cream-beige knobs on the front are Catalin-like, really! Maybe they are. The dial scale is also way cool. A light behind the dial moves with the tuner to give an awesome indicator of selected station. The tigering on this set is unbelievable, as the pictures should show. This set retains ALL of its original parts, including its backing and stickers. Gold accents complete this remarkably beautiful set. |
