Silvertone 4590 Console (1936)

Silvertone 4590 Console (1936)
NEW!This is another of the "Sears Golden Jubilee" series of radios with different sized gold dials and styles. The 4590 is rather rare, very few have survived. It has the largest and most impressive gold dial of the series at six inches diameter. Has eleven tubes with push-pull output, and a "flash tuning" design. Receives AM broadcast band and two short-wave bands, covering up to 18 MHz. Restoration of the cabinet with correct nitrocellulose lacquer was performed, and it displays great! Knobs are original, grille cloth is reproduction. The fantastic dial lights up brightly and displays the band selected. Complete electronic restoration was performed (see how I restore radios link on my main page), The original ten-inch diameter speaker provides wonderful sound! Aux input cable has been added: play your favorite tunes or OTR shows using CD player, iPod, etc. Bluetooth receiver is included (free) so you can stream tunes from your phone, laptop, etc. 12 month warranty. Pickup in Central Virginia near Lynchburg, or contact me for other options. 43"H x 26"W x 13"D. You will love this radio!  $1,495.00. (1030279)
All my radios include an aux input cable so you can play your favorite tunes or Old Time Radio shows using CD player, computer, iPod, etc. They are installed with no damage to the chassis or cabinet. A high quality Bluetooth receiver is included for free ($25 value) so you can stream tunes from your phone, laptop, etc. This is a very popular option, and has range of about 30 feet. I will remove the cable if you don't want it.
