Stewart-Warner R-1365-A (1934)

Stewart-Warner R-1365-A (1934)
SALE!  This rare and very impressive small console radio is seldom seen or offered for sale. Check out all the beautiful and exotic veneers on this one; the quality of the cabinet is stunning! The cabinet was professionally restored using the same type nitrocellulose lacquer as originally used. It displays beautifully and will be a highlight of any collection. Manufactured by Stewart-Warner in 1934 and with seven tubes, it receives the Broadcast band (550 to 1700 KC) and Short Wave in two bands from 1.7 to 17 MC, and features a backlit dial with coarse and fine tuning. The Ferrodyne chassis is a top performer with great sensitivity, selectivity and plenty of volume. It has had a complete electronics tuneup with all new capacitors; tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed. 90 day warranty. Local pickup in Central Virginia near Lynchburg, or Greyhound shipping to your local terminal for about $150. 39"H x 23"W x 13"D.  Was $995.00, now $795.00.
All my radios include an aux input cable so you can play your favorite tunes or Old Time Radio shows using CD player, computer, iPod, etc. They are installed with no damage to the chassis or cabinet. A high quality Bluetooth receiver is included for free ($25 value) so you can stream tunes from your phone, laptop, etc. This is a very popular option, and has range of about 30 feet. I will remove the cable if you don't want it.
