This rare and very impressive small console radio is seldom seen or offered for sale. Check out all the beautiful and exotic veneers on this one; the quality of the cabinet is stunning! The cabinet was professionally restored using the same type nitrocellulose lacquer as originally used. It displays beautifully and will be a highlight of any collection. Manufactured by Stewart-Warner in 1934 and with seven tubes, it receives the Broadcast band (550 to 1700 KC) and Short Wave in two bands from 1.7 to 17 MC, and features a backlit dial with coarse and fine tuning. The Ferrodyne chassis is a top performer with great sensitivity, selectivity and plenty of volume. It has had a complete electronics tuneup with all new capacitors; tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed. 90 day warranty.
