I was attracted to this radio because of the exceptional condition of the cabinet and the fact it was working fine. The Bakelite cabinet is pristine, no cracks, scratches or chips, just like it came from the factory! This is a seven-tube AC/DC tabletop that uses the Armstrong FM system and current band. In spite of the good working condition, I realized it should be restored properly (especially replacing the selenium rectifier with a silicon diode). I also replaced all the electrolytic and wax/paper caps, checked resistors and tubes and replaced if needed. It is now working great on both bands. The left knob is band select and tuning, right knob is volume, and center knob is tone. Aux input cable was added so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc. and play audio through the radio. Bluetooth receiver can be added for $25 and you can stream tunes from your phone, computer, etc. Chassis pics are available; 90 day warranty. 15"W x 8-1/2"H x 7-1/2"D.
