This vintage Zenith model 5-S-319 with attractive "Racetrack" dial is an excellent radio. It is a very popular radio because of its compact design and the dial. A five-tube Superheterodyne, it features two bands (550-1700 KC, 5.5-18.5 MC), and has pushbuttons for selecting favorite stations, and they work! The original finish was too nice to strip, so I cleaned it and applied a fresh coat of semi-gloss lacquer. It has some bumps and bruises from 80 years of use. The faux finish tiger stripe is in good condition (very unusual)! It has been electronically restored and plays great on both bands. It works very well with just a short wire antenna (included). Aux input cable was added so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc. and play audio through the radio. A Bluetooth receiver can be added for $25 and you can stream your tunes, radio shows, etc. from your phone, computer, etc. 90 day warranty. 13"W x 9"H x 8"D, shipped weight is 18 lbs.
