THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is an excellent example of this radio built just before the start of WWII. Featuring six tubes and Super-Heterodyne design, it has Broadcast and Short Wave bands and both work very well. Both bands use the internal antenna, but Short Wave needs a wire antenna for better reception. It has been completely recapped, all resistors and tubes checked and replaced as needed. Very nicely refinished, has new grille cloth and looks great (is a bit darker than shown due to lighting used). One tiny spot below the left-most knob where veneer is missing does not detract. Original knobs, speaker and back. 90 day warranty. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc.) has been added, and can be used with a Bluetooth receiver to stream tunes to the radio from your phone or other Bluetooth equipped device. Weighs 15 pounds, 15-1/2"W x 10"H x 8 1/2"D. |
