Offered is an excellent Hallicrafters receiver. It is a six-tube superhet design, has been completely recapped and tuned up and plays great on the Broadcast Band (.55-2 MC) and two shortwave bands (2-8 MC, 8-30 MC). Has code, anti-noise, speaker-phone, and receive-standby switches. Headphone plug on back. Cosmetics are not great but decent for the age. Chassis is rust free and pics are available, please ask. It works very well on all bands, and has a rare "ships wheel" knob for the bandspread tuning. If you are looking for an excellent but small tube-type multiband receiver I recommend this highly. I doubt you will want it, but an aux cable will be added if desired so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc. and play audio through the radio. Bluetooth receiver can be added and you can stream your tunes from your phone, computer, etc. 90 day warranty. Is compact at 11-1/2"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D.
