Offered is an excellent mantel/compact radio by Emerson Radio and Phonograph Corp from 1933. This radio is a true survivor and is in unbelievable cosmetic and playing condition. Seldom seen, it is a five-tube superhet design, has been recapped and plays great on the Broadcast Band (only). Has the original long wire antenna, knobs and back! Red "dot" on top lights up when on; handle folds down if desired. Refinished with nitrocellulose lacquer as originally used. Chassis is rust free and pics are available, please ask. An aux cable will be added if desired so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc. and play audio through the radio. Bluetooth receiver can be added and you can stream your tunes from your phone, computer, etc. 90 day warranty. Is very compact at 11"W x 8"H x 5"D. |
