THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This vintage Zenith is an excellent radio. It is unusual and popular because of its compact design, and is seldom seen for sale. A five-tube Superheterodyne, it features two bands
(550-1700 KC, 5.6-18.5 MC). Each band has two tone settings, accomplished with the band switch. Dial lights up brightly. Chassis and speaker are very clean. Electronic restoration was performed, replacing capacitors, out of tolerance resistors, band alignment, and bad or marginal tubes. The finish was restored using toned and clear lacquer. It works very well with just a short
wire antenna (included). Aux input cable was added so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc.
and play audio through the radio. Bluetooth receiver can be added for $30 (my cost) and you can stream your tunes from your phone, computer, etc. 90 day warranty. 15-1/2"H x 10"W x 9-1/2"D. |
