The FADA 790 was one of the first radios built after WWII that included the modern FM band. This example is in wonderful restored condition and works really well on both bands. This is the Series B version, an improvement over the initial design, and has eight tubes plus a ballast. It is original except for some tubes and the replaced capacitors and resistors under the chassis. I sold three of these previously and have had no complaints. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example; the Bakelite case has no cracks or chips and no detracting scratches, dial is perfect, original grille cloth and dial cover. Knobs still have lettering and are correct. Complete electronic restoration was performed, band alignment, adjust IF transformers to give peak performance, and testing tubes: replacing bad or marginal ones with good ones. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc) has been added. A perfect gift; 90 day warranty applies. Weighs 10 lbs, 14"W x 9"H x 8"D.
