This large table radio is a relative of the famous "Cube" radios made by Zenith. It is a three-band receiver: Broadcast 550-1750 KC, Police Band 1.8-5.5 MC, and Shortwave 5.5-18.0 MC. It works very well on all bands and requires a short wire antenna for reception. All the filter and paper caps have been replaced and any other parts replaced as needed. A full alignment was performed. The flawless veneer cabinet was expertly refinished using lacquer and displays very well. The wooden knobs are original Zenith, grille cloth is reproduction. Cabinet tag on bottom and tag under chassis match the serial number tag, so chassis is original. It would be a great addition to any collection. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc.) can be added for $75 (will not change the cabinet or chassis in any way). Large at 19-1/2"W x 11-1/2"H x 10-1/2"D.
