THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a West German-made Olympic Opta Bella Luxus type 5711W in excellent condition. Cabinet has the original finish. Six tubes and three bands: BC 550-1600 KHz, SW 6-18 MHz, FM 88-108 MHz. It is hard to find an AM/FM/SW radio!
Excellent performance on all bands; includes tone control and audio compensation selectors for Bass, Jazz, Voice and Orchestra. Built-in phono input has had iPod cable added. Three speakers: one 5" x 7" and two small electrostatic type.
Includes an external speaker connection and antenna connection to improve Short Wave reception (very good without this). All push-buttons work properly. Tuning indicator tube is new and bright and works perfectly. Grille cloth is original and in excellent condition. I have sold six of this model previously and everyone has been very pleased. Small size with big sound from a German tube-type radio at 15"W x 10"H x 8"D! |
