This super playing Truetone (Western Auto brand name) table radio is ready for you to proudly display and listen to. It was manufactured by Wells Gardner Co. for Western Auto. A seven tube receiver, it covers the AM (Broadcast) band (550-1550 KC) and has short-wave coverage from 6 to 18 MC. Both bands work great using the built in "Stratoscope" antenna. You can add a length of wire to improve short wave coverage. The cabinet was like this when I bought it and I think it may be original. It is very attractive. The electronics are restored, and it has been aligned and peaked for optimum performance. The cabinet is missing only a tiny bit of the fretwork on top right, dial is in great condition, correct knobs,original speaker and grille cloth. 90 day warranty applies. iPod input can be added for $75. Weighs 11 pounds, 16"W x 10-1/2"H x 8"D.
