This mini-tombstone is an impressive radio for its small size! It picks up many stations with only a short antenna wire. The dial is very colorful, and has a mirror behind it which makes it very attractive when illuminated. It has been electronically and cosmetically restored, and works extremely well, covering the broadcast (550-1700 KC) and Shortwave (6-15 MC). The finish is excellent and was done in clear and toned lacquer. The electrolytic and paper capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents, resistors checked with out-of-tolerance ones replaced, all tubes tested and weak ones replaced. It has a new power cord and new grille cloth. Chassis is excellent, speaker cone is perfect and chassis pics are available. iPod® input can be added for $75. 12-1/2"H x 10-1/2"W x 8"D; shipping weight is 14 pounds. |
