THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This vintage clock-radio is a survivor, I almost pitched it! The AM radio, clock (Telechron) and alarm all work properly, and well. It has all correct knobs, and has been given a new lease on life with new electrolytic filter caps, replacement of the paper caps and selenium rectifier (with a silicon diode), and a new power cord. There is a thin crack on the top left that extends onto the left side (not that noticeable), and two small extra holes on the back panel, so if you want a perfect cabinet, please look elsewhere. But, the new components are a major plus, as replacement of them is no easy task. It should provide many years of trouble-free operation, and warranty applies. Small at 9"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D. |
