THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This vintage Western Electric Horn Speaker is in good condition. The label is not clear enough to identify a model number, but I see a patent date of 1918, but I am sure it is a model 521-CW. The horn and neck are "moulded composition" according
to this web link that describes the construction. The base is metal. There is a repair on the riser near the base, but not real noticable. It has a 10" diameter horn opening, 5-1/4" diameter base and is 22" tall. The driver has a resistance of 1100 ohms. Western Electric was a manufacturer of high quality and very collectible early radio gear. This is a chance to own a rare piece of very early radio history! Shipping weight 10 pounds. |
