This vintage Horn Loud Speaker is in fantastic condition. The "WLS" stands for Sears & Roebuck's "Worlds Largest Store" located in Chicago, Illinois. There is a history about WLS radio at http://www.wlshistory.com/WLS20/. If you look at the link you will see an ad for this speaker (or one very close to it). There are no cracks, scratches or chips in the beautiful Bakelite horn. The painted metal base and neck are in great shape. The driver has a resistance of 1250 ohms. This is a chance to own a rare piece of early Chicago radio history! Shipping weight 15 pounds. This has a 13" diameter horn opening, 7" diameter base and is 21-1/2" tall. |
