THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a beautiful working Radiola III-A with four good (expensive) WD-11 tubes. I have owned this for ten years, it was restored when I acquired it as part of a very nice collection. It displays wonderfully, and with a battery eliminator and a long wire antenna works just fine (requires headphones or speaker). The pictures tell the story, not much I can add. You will note the lettering and hardware is gold plated, which is quite unusual (the collector who restored it had access to a gold plating facility). While unusual, it is really attractive. Shipping weight 12 pounds, 12"W x 7"H (including height of tubes) x 7"D. |
