THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This vintage Canadian cathedral/tombstone is an impressive radio and heavy! It is in none of my books, so it must be rare; I'll bet you will never see another! It is a seven tube Superheterodyne, broadcast band only. It has been electronically (filter and paper caps) and cosmetically restored with new grille cloth. It works fine with a wire antenna. The finish is excellent (already restored when I bought it so not sure how it was done) and displays very well. There is a small chip missing on top at back; the speaker has a small hole that has been repaired (but does not affect sound). Additional pics are available, schematic will be included. This impressive and rare radio would be a great addition to any collection! 14-1/2"W x 18"H x 11"D, shipping weight is 36 pounds. |
