THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This cabinet style was one of several 84B models produced by Philco in 1933/1934. Sometime in its very long life, somebody attempted to paint it with some sort of antique type of finish which can easily be stripped from the very solid case. Then it can be refinished as it should be. I haven't tried to turn it on, as I could already see that the electrolytic capacitor was leaking. The chassis is in good condition with very little corrosion; all the tubes are there. This will be a nice looking and working vintage radio after restoration.
