THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio was offered three years by Sears, 1936-1938; the 1936 was model 4414. The earlier ones had a white dial. There have been repairs done to the cabinet; notice top view and front view of the grille. The casual observer will not notice them. The surface of this set is black and mirror-like, note the reflection of the volume knob in the right side view, also of the cloth it was photographed on in some of the views. It is very collectible and would go for twice my asking price if not for the cosmetic defect. The radio is transformer operated, not AC/DC. Requires a 10 to 20 ft. antenna wire for local reception, longer for weaker stations. Only |
