Stromberg-Carlson radios sold!

Stromberg-Carlson 1101 (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Stromberg-Carlson 1101 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Brown Bakelite. No cracks, chips or scratches. Doesn't look its age. There are some white areas in the photos that must be reflections as they are not there! This is an interesting sort of Art Deco cabinet by an old company (1894) that started in the telephone business and began making complete radios in 1923. They had a reputation for excellence. This set has six tubes, is quite sensitive and has a nice sound.
