About 1941/42 or possibly 1946. Wood cabinet, refinished. Looks good except the dark border around the top is less than perfect. The dial paint has been retouched. Back intact but shows wear! This set has seen hard use but looks quite nice and performs well. Electrically restored. It has two bands, AM broadcast and AM shortwave, 6 to 18 megahertz, both work well. This set is from one of the more prolific makers of affordable radios. Powel Crosley founded the company in 1921 and called his offerings "The Model T of Radio" due to their value for a reasonable price. You will enjoy this one for |
