Motorola 82A (1939)
(wood tube console radio w/SW)

Motorola 82A (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

BC+1SW. This is the ultimate Rube Goldberg machine, with both manual and motorized tuning and a clock timer that can be set to automatically turn on the set at multiple times and automatically tune to a specific station selected with a telephone dial wheel. The clock/timer in this is fully backlit as is the dial, and must have cost Motorola a fortune to produce! The cabinet is a beautiful Art Deco design with the original knobs, grille cloth and photofinish strips fully restored. Very few of these sets were made or survived, but if you like mechanical and electrical gizmos, this radio is the ultimate! Fully restored and warranted. 43"H x 31"W x 14"D.
