THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio is a very rare find. In the entire Internet I can only find one picture of one, in the Radio Museum, a photo from an original ad. What a great find for the Monkey Wards die hard collector! The radio has been totally restored with all new resistors and capacitors. I aligned it and it plays loud and clear. Nice very early superhet. The dial light follows the pointer to highlight the station you are on. The wood knobs are authentic, the cord appears original, and it is in great shape. I added a new grille cloth that is very much like the original. Finished in lacquer. 16-1/2"W x 10"H x 9-1/2"D, approximately 25 lbs packed. |
