THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is one of the most collectible pre-War Zeniths around. It is compact but has great sound. Three bands, regular broadcast plus two short wave bands. The radio plays loud and clear after a complete overhaul replacing all resistors and capacitors. All six tubes are the "ST" (coke bottle type) as originally supplied. The tube shields are correct. The speaker is original and correct. The filter housing has been cleaned out and "restuffed" with new caps. There are new rubber isolators on the tuning mechanism and on the chassis. New cloth cord and new reproduction grille cloth to match 1938 Zeniths. The knobs are reproductions but are very authentic looking. Cabinet finished in semigloss lacquer with Zenith indigo inside. 14"W x 11"H x 10"D, about 22 lbs packed. |
