THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
What a beautiful set! The Germans certainly have a talent for making striking radios even back in the 50's. This is almost a console, four speakers in a very large table set. It has been completely restored inside and out, all new caps (filter restuffed with new) and all papers replaced. All resistors check out OK. Brand new eye tube (EM34). On the inside I placed a schematic showing the equivalent American tubes. Also there are spare fuses. Cabinet refinished with lacquer, new grille cloth. There is a small break in the little tweeter grille on the right side, see photo. Otherwise the cabinet is pristine. It sounds great on AM and on FM as well. About 22 lbs packed. 23"W x 13-1/2"H x 9"D. |
