Jackson-Bell 62 "Swan" Cathedral (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Jackson-Bell 62 "Swan" Cathedral (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Once again I am proud to offer one of the most collectible little cathedrals out there. The chassis is a high end six tube TRF design built by Gilfillan Bros in Los Angeles (still in business). I have restored it completely inside and out. I replaced all the resistors and capacitors after completely removing all the parts (total frame-off). New filter caps are inside the old copper cans. Outside is refinished with clear lacquer. The tubes are all globe type including one blue Arcturus for added color. Radio plays loud and clear, guarantee applies. Original JBL speaker with new cone, original bakelite knobs and plug. New cloth cord and cloth antenna hank, new grille cloth. 15"H x 12"W x 9"D, about 23 pounds packed.
