THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio is one big beautiful set. I did a full frame-off restoration, and it plays loud and clear. My guarantee applies. As always I clean out the capacitor cans and restuff them with brand new caps, and I replaced all the resistors as well. The clock runs quietly and keeps perfect time. The radio is an eight-tube superheterodyne that is super sensitive, and has a huge 10" speaker. Has original wood knobs, some tubes are the globe type. The speaker grille is reproduction. I added disconnects on the speaker and clock cables for easy maintenance. This set is pretty large, 20"H x 13-1/2"W x 10"D. About 50 pounds packed, and will be in an oversize outer box. |
