So is it a tombstone or a cathedral? You decide. I guess it was one of those transitional models. Anyhow it has been completely restored inside and out, complete "frame off" with all new resistors and capacitors. Radio plays loud and clear and my guarantee applies. Two slight modifications for safety: there were high voltage terminals on top of the transformer that were exposed, I put a clear acrylic shield over them; also, I installed a plug on the speaker to make it easier to service the radio. Beautiful mahogany cabinet refinished in lacquer. 18"H x 15"W x 9"D; about 27 pounds packed. |
