THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a quite large eight-tube superheterodyne tombstone from the Depression era. It plays loud and clear (my guarantee applies) and it picks up broadcast stations from all over with only a short antenna. The chassis has been totally reconditioned, a full "frame off" restoration. The capacitor cans have been restuffed with new caps. All resistors and caps have been replaced. Radio has been aligned and it plays great. The speaker has a new cone too. The cabinet sports all new walnut veneer. Original Bakelite knobs. New grille cloth, new cloth cord and reproduction Bakelite plug. I have photos from the restoration process, email me for them. 19"H x 13"W x 9"D and 39 pounds when packed (heavy!). I'll pay half the domestic shipping, too! |
