THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
From the company that made about 95% of the clock movements for all clock radios of the era, here is one with their own name on it. This is the only model I think that had the Telechron name. This four-tube permeability tuned radio has been fully restored and aligned, it plays loud and clear with the antenna wire provided. The clock runs quiet and keeps good time. The automatic system works but it does turn the radio on about a half hour early. I guess as long as you know that in advance you will be OK. The cabinet has its original ivory paint job in excellent condition for its age. The knobs are all original including clock knobs. There is a small crack on the bottom that has been repaired. 10-1/2"W x 6"H x 5"D, about 8 pounds packed. |
